I've been readying for and attending the law enforcement academy for the last six-ish months, and I've graduated and proudly taken a position as a reserve deputy with my local agency. I'm now back at work, furiously writing the next scripts for Stories from the Midland. I plan to start filming this weekend and hope to be through the editing process for the first new episode for publishing the second Monday of June.

Some of the coming episodes of Stories from the Midland will go through a format change, as I hope to do a lot of filming of the episodes on locations if they are available. I will also combine Stories from the Midland with Photos from the Midland, taking a a photograph on site with one of my cameras on film, glass plate, or paper negative just before closing each episode.

In addition to new scripts, I'm looking to retool scripts from my audio episodes for use in video. So, some of the stories told on the YouTube channel may sound familiar. I hope you found the stories told in a new way entertaining and informative.

With that, I'll see you soon in the Midland.
